<p>As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, ideally you will have a strong understanding of process control, automated production equipment and a passion for maintaining high operational standards and driving continuous improvement.<br>
Working in a manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for ensuring plant and packing line performance is optimised through effective maintenance, fault finding, and improvement activities, while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and environmental compliance.</p>

<p><strong>This role will cover:</strong></p>

	<li>Carrying out preventative &amp; reactive maintenance activities to keep plant down time to a minimum</li>
	<li>Fault finding on mechanical, electrical and PLC systems.</li>

	<li>Identify critical spare parts to support operational needs and code items to engineering stock.</li>
	<li>Conduct Root Cause Analysis on equipment failures and carry out improvement works based on agreed corrective actions.</li>

	<li>Use a range of risk assessment techniques to ensure safety of plant, equipment and activities.</li>
	<li>Act as Permit Issuer for planned work and ensure that work is controlled in accordance with site Control of Work Standards.</li>
	<li>Act as Electrical Authorised Persons (EAP) for point of work electrical isolations.</li>
	<li>Perform the appropriate process engineering assessments for plant and equipment modifications.</li>
	<li>Be responsible for line change overs aligned to the production plan</li>
	<li>Develop, deliver and competence assess the Basic Engineering training for the operations team, maintenance group and external contractors.</li>

<p>The ideal candidate will have experience in an FMCG manufacturing environment. You will have a sound working knowledge of packing machinery and continuous manufacturing processes, along with excellent technical and problem-solving skills.</p>
