<p>As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, ideally you will have a strong understanding of process control, automated production equipment and a passion for maintaining high operational standards and driving continuous improvement.<br>
Working in a manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for ensuring plant and packing line performance is optimised through effective maintenance, fault finding, and improvement activities, while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and environmental compliance.</p>

<p><strong>This role will cover:</strong></p>

	<li>Perform the appropriate process engineering assessments for plant and equipment modifications.</li>
	<li>Be responsible for line change overs aligned to the production plan</li>
	<li>Develop, deliver and competence assess the Basic Engineering training for the operations team, maintenance group and external contractors.</li>

<p>The ideal candidate will have experience in an FMCG manufacturing environment. You will have a sound working knowledge of packing machinery and continuous manufacturing processes, along with excellent technical and problem-solving skills.</p>

<div>The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for ensuring statutory and legislative compliance, and service delivery of the electrical infrastructure and distribution network across the Royston site. <p>This role requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, alongside robust organisational, IT, and instructional capabilities. Equally critical is the ability to foster effective working relationships and positively influence stakeholders within the plant environment.</p>

<p>The ideal candidate will be a highly effective organiser, demonstrating strong influencing capabilities and a dedication to continuous improvement. They should possess the ability to analyse diverse data sources and distil key insights tailored to varied audiences. A foundational understanding of health and safety procedures, alongside relevant legislation within manufacturing environments, would be advantageous.</p>

<p>Success in this role also requires strong teamwork, with an aptitude for collaboration and mutual support. The candidate must be confident in challenging unsafe behaviours while also contributing constructive solutions for improvement. Experience in delivering training sessions, conducting briefings, and leading audits with cross-functional teams is essential.</p>

<p>Strong analytical thinking is a core requirement, and previous experience in a similar role&mdash;preferably within the steel industry or a comparable industrial environment&mdash;will be highly regarded.</p>

As the Technical Development Manager you will be reporting to the Engineering Services Manager and will play a key role in developing new business opportunities and strengthening existing client relationships across the onshore electrical engineering sector.<br>

This role focuses on identifying, developing and converting opportunities aligned with our diversified engineering services offering, including low voltage, high voltage, fire &amp; gas, and hazardous area inspection and maintenance.<br>

<strong>Key responsibilities:</strong></p>

	<p>Identify and develop new client opportunities while growing existing accounts</p>

	<p>Act as the technical lead during early engagement, providing front&#8209;end technical support</p>

	<p>Prepare, manage and submit technical proposals, tenders and quotations</p>
	</li>
	<li>
	<p>Lead and manage the Engineering Services bid process from opportunity to award</p>
	</li>
	<li>
	<p>Work closely with internal Business Development, Engineering and Marketing teams</p>
	</li>
	<li>
	<p>Maintain accurate opportunity and CRM data, including weighted forecasts</p>
	</li>
	<li>
	<p>Represent the business professionally at client meetings, industry events and exhibitions</p>

	<p>Provide market, competitor and client intelligence to support growth strategy</p>

	<p>Travel to client sites across the UK as required</p>

<strong>What we&rsquo;re looking for:</strong></p>

	<p>Qualified Electrical Engineer with at least 5 years&rsquo; experience in a similar technical or business development role</p>

	<p>Strong technical knowledge across LV/HV systems and electrical engineering standards</p>
	</li>

	<p>Commercially aware, with the ability to identify value and cost-saving opportunities for clients</p>
	</li>
	<li>
	<p>Confident interpreting scopes, drawings, specifications and calculations</p>
	</li>
	<li>
	<p>Proven ability to develop technical solutions and convert them into winning proposals</p>
	</li>
	<li>
	<p>Strong communication, planning and organisational skills</p>

	<p>Self&#8209;motivated, professional and comfortable working independently and collaboratively</p>

	<p>Full UK driving licence</p>
