We are looking for a long-term fabricator/welder to join one of our prestigious clients based in Hull. A family run business, , which holds value in every employee that works towards both their own and the company’s goals. Our company specializes in the design, manufacture, modification, and repair of a wide range of heavy material handling equipment, for companies within the UK and across Globe. With our expertise and knowledge, we provide a bespoke material handling service like no other, working alongside all engineering departments, we research, design, and modify/manufacture bespoke lifting equipment to best fulfil the worlds need for innovation and implementation of new and/or repurposed lifting equipment.
Your duties and responsibilities will include.
Working from engineering drawings
Working to 3mm fabrication tolerances
Maintenance of the fabrication workshop, including plant equipment and workshop machinery
Management of workshop consumables and general equipment
The fabrication shops open and shut down procedure
you will be required to;
Be an effective team player
Plan your own work methods, prioritizing safety, job completion times, and quality product
Manage own workload
Complete an accurate timesheet
Adder to all rules, procedures, and policies.
Ability and knowledge
Be able to use a MIG welding plant
Be able to effectively operate burning bottles
Be able to fabricate large assemblies using brace methods
Be able to take pattern drawings and replicate new using old component parts
Be able to work offsite using minimal equipment, utilizing own innovative
Be able to use a range of grinding equipment
Preferred ability and knowledge
Able to use a TIG welding plant
Have other transferable skills across our engineering departments
What we offer
£16.00 to £16.50 P/H
40 hour weeks, + Overtime
Monday to Friday
08:00 – 16:30
Average holiday pay,

Annual £1,000 bonus
£33,280.00 - £53,625.00 with overtime
