ROLE SUMMARY
The post-holder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary primary healthcare team delivering general medical services, nursing care, and elements of occupational health, to the Medical Facility/Bedded Down Facility’s Population At Risk (PAR).
The post-holder will work unsupervised, and be responsible for the delivery of appropriate assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care needs, medical screening and advice to patients within their professional competence. They will provide a range of clinical services.
At times the post holder may have training and mentorship responsibilities for members of the multi-disciplinary team.
The post-holder will work within the NMC code of professional conduct and adhere to all NMC standards and MOD policies and guidelines.
HOURS: 36 per week excluding lunch breaks (if working a day shift)
Night and Weekend shifts are entitled to a paid break (24 hour rota, 7 days per week)
Breaks can be split by local arrangement .
The applicant must:
Be IT-literate
Be able to pass the requirement for an Enhanced CRB certificate
Provide evidence of Hepatitis B immunity
Be able to pass an enhanced Security Check as per MOD requirements.
