OLG Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Software Developer/Programmer to work for a Company based in Immingham with some level of office attendance required, but hibrid remote working also negotiable. Renumeration and benefits package to be agreed depending on experience. Staff, PAYE or Ltd contract methods of employment can be agreed. 

Job Overview:

• Individual to work with existing engineering design software packages.
• The role will involve taking direction from Software users on requirements for programme output, standardising settings / inputs and cross software communication editing code, writing add Ons to upgrade standard commercially available software for higher use.  
• Programming languages of particular interest are Python, Java, visual basic & VB.net
• Standard software’s to be edited include, ACAD Plant 3D, PnPISo & Advance Steel.
• This is an opportunity for a forward-thinking programmer / software developer to work with industry leading Engineers and designers. Engineering and design knowledge is desirable but not an absolute requirement.
• The candidate should be organised and methodical in both their approach to problem solving, data management and workload management. Priorities and realistic schedules for documented and isolated tasks (where possible) will be agreed with their manager.
• Long term position with increasing seniority and responsibility available for the right candidate.
