OLG Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Coordinator to work for a client based in Wakefield. This is a full time permanent position.
Job Purpose:
- Work as part of the Maintenance team to ensure the top tier COMAH site is operating in a safe and productive manner and maintain and improve undertaking all duties in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and working to all relevant standards.
- Demonstrate the ability to identify and report problems. Assist in actions for continuous improvement.
- Be flexible in your approach to duties in accordance with the requirements of the business.
- To be responsible for the daily execution of the agreed work scope in a safe manner, to the agreed engineering quality standards and projects programme.
Responsibilites:
- Planning Maintenance work schedule and updating the weekly maintenance plan
- Prepare Weekly Maintenance KPI’s/Reports
- Attend daily & weekly scheduled meetings
- Liaise with Maintenance team leader
- Understand the scope of the work and the logistics of how the plan is built up
- Continue system improvements on reliability such as plant Bad Actors
- Work with Stores Personnel and engineers to identify critical spare requirements
- Continuous improvement of procedures and systems for maintenance
- Co-ordinating Contractors requirements including all associated prerequisite requirements to point of arrival
- Develop and improve Emaint
- Processing purchase orders for transmission to the purchasing department
- General Account queries such as invoice process discrepancies on EUK system
Scanning Duties:
- EUK maintenance job sheets with updated info and attachments
- Certificates such as Allianz reports, certs of conformity
- Contractor work reports
- Contractor time sheets
Safety, Health & Environment:
- For self and others, ensure compliance to all relevant Health, Safety, Welfare and Environmental regulations, legislation, and Company requirements without exception.
- Deliver toolbox talks and general safety information to the site team before work starts
- Participate in safety audit schedules
- Identify method statements, permit requirements, and ensure they are in place and cover the task prior to work beginning
- Ensure all personnel maintain good conduct, comply with safety
- Work with and support your own as well as other departments within the business in order to achieve departmental and organisational objectives.
- Communicate clearly and concisely to others, whether written or verbal, in order that expectations are understood.
