OLG Recruitment are currently recruiting for HSE Compliance Coordinator to work for a client based in Worcester. This is a temporary contract position working 39 hours per week, for approx. 6 months. Working hours will be Mon – Thurs 7am – 3.30pm, Friday 7am – 2pm.
Position Summary:
Reporting into the Asset Planning and Workshop Manager, the incumbent will work in the Engineering Workshop in Worcester, focused on EH&S related activities within the Workshop.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Develop and update risk assessments for workshop activities and equipment.
- Write and revise Workshop Work Instructions (WWIs).
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance safety, efficiency, and compliance.
- Manage the scrapping and disposal of obsolete or non-compliant materials in line with EH&S and company policies.
- Implement corrective actions from EH&S audits.
- Collaborate with workshop staff to ensure procedures are practical and understood.
- Assist in preparing documentation and evidence for audits.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to EHNS reporting.
- Improve workshop setup and layout and enact changes via the management of change process.
- Ensure compliance with Regulations and EHSQ policies and procedures.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience in EHNS, workshop operations, or technical documentation.
- Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies and safety standards.
- Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Experience in process improvement or lean methodologies is desirable.
