OLG Recruitment are currently looking for a Plater/Fabricator for our client located in Scunthorpe. This is a workshop based role for a minimum of 2 months.

Job purpose:

• To carry out fabrication / plating and associated activities in accordance with line management instructions

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

• Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with the Instructions and Documentation, relevant Quality Standards, Risk Assessment, Safety Method Statement and other relevant specifications
• Interpret engineering drawings and other documents as required
• Select tools, equipment and supplies needed for the welding they have been assigned to
• Completing activities as required following proper practices and appropriate fabrication procedures
• Using safety equipment in various places as required
• Working as part of the crew or team to complete the project within the timeline indicated by the supervisor or line manager
• Attending trainings and classes to keep up to date on the latest technology and techniques
• Follow the Company health, safety and environmental procedures
• Any other reasonable duties as decided by the supervisor or line manager
