We are looking for an Environmental Specialist for our client based in Immingham, this is a contract position for around 12 weeks.
Basic Function:
Supporting the development of the planning and permit applications for Humber Zero and Gigastack projects on behalf of the client.
Responsibilities:
- Advise on technical aspects of the EIA for the developments
- Liaise with the project team on the project development and application BAT
- Liaise with the project team to ensure appropriate oversight and input into the project, and that the correct information is included in the EIA and relevant application
- Review associated documents on behalf of the client
- Input into other documents and communications as needed to ensure EIA, planning and permitting issues are accurately reflected
- Liaise with relevant authorities and bodies, such as Local Authority, Environment Agency, Natural England, Wildlife Trusts) as needed.
- Liaise with projects collaborators, such as VPI and Orsted, on aspects of the EIA, planning and permitting applications as needed
- Assist with co-ordination and management of contractors, such as ecological, archaeological etc, carrying out work for the EIA.
