OLG Recruitment are currently looking for four Crane Engineers for our client, two located in Tyne & Wear and two located in Teesside. These are permanent positions working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am-4:30 and overtime is available. 

You will be inspecting, servicing, maintaining and repairing customers overhead cranes and lifting equipment across a wide range of industries. You will also offer advice to customers on safety and operational improvements to ensure they stay compliant.

Main Duties

• Inspect, service, maintain and repair customers overhead cranes and lifting equipment across a wide range of industries Collaborate with a team of brilliant service engineers and lead technicians.
• Troubleshoot and solve complex engineering challenges
• Ensure safety and efficiency in every job

Key Attributes 

• Electro-mechanically trained (electrically bias)
• Time served electrically qualified an advantage
• Understanding and knowledge of electrical drawings an advantage
• Comfortable working at height
• Valid UK Driving Licence
• Customer Focused
• Attention to Detail with a trouble shooting approach, organised and presentable
• LEEA Qualifications, an advantage but not essential
