OLG Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant for our client located in Immingham. This is a full-time permanent position.
Ideally you will be level 2 AAT qualified, with ambitions to undertake further qualifications to level 3 and 4 which will be supported by the business.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Banking – allocate payments and receipts
(including updating intercompany spreadsheets on Teams and daily balances spreadsheet for Mark)
- Cash Book completion
- Reconcile bank balances to Sage
- Print invoices from the purchase invoice inbox and distribute accordingly
- Input purchase invoices onto Sage 50
- Seafreight Reconciliation
- Supplier payments (Subbies 15th, Month End, plus any Adhoc)
- Exchange Euros/USD for supplier payments
- Recharge invoices
- Customs Invoicing
- Freight Forwarding Sales Invoicing
- Processing Freight Forwarding cost invoices
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Process sub-contractor invoices and produce month end accrual
figures
- Check Self Bill amounts against traffic sheets
- Arrange boilers and fire extinguishers to be serviced
- Arrange annual PAT testing
- Arrange 5 year electrical testing
- Fire Marshall / test fire alarm system
- Order stationary / consumables
- Gas/Electric Meter Readings
- Unreturned Trailers
- Exports
- Truck P&L spreadsheet
- Enter details from driver timesheets onto excel spreadsheet
